Dr Coakley has prepared medicolegal reports for personal injury cases since 2005, and in more recent years has prepared clinical negligence reports. He sees claimants at The Harley Street Clinic, 16 Devonshire Street, or where appropriate at the claimant’s home or nearby hotel for those unable to travel to London, or by video consultation.
He has assessed over 600 personal injury cases affecting claimants with inflammatory arthritis including rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and lupus, as well as those with fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome, spinal pain, post-fracture pain and various other chronic pain syndromes, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
